Fab Lab Athens counts with important partners:

1.NTUA
The National Technical University of Athens  (N.T.U.A.) is the oldest and most prestigious educational institution of Greece in the field of technology, and has contributed unceasingly to the country’s scientific, technical and economic development since its foundation in 1836. Its Academic and Research activities related to Fab Labs comprises among others, knowledge and innovation management, digital design and fabrication, smart materials, ambient intelligence in buildings and cities, sustainable development and planning from micro-architectures to urban and territorial design and planning. NTUA is the hosting organization of Fab Lab Athens. The School of Architecture of N.T.U.A. will host in its fabrication labs the workshop and research activities of Fab Lab Athens.

2.TEE/IEKEM
The TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece) (Greek: Τεχνικό Επιμελητήριο Ελλάδας) (TEE-TCG) is the Greek professional organization that serves as the official technical advisor of the Greek state and is responsible for awarding professional licences to all practicing engineers in Greece. It is a public legal entity with elected administration, supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works.
The Technical Chamber of Greece is a member of the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering.
It was founded in 1923 by the alumni of the National Technical University of Athens.

3.MyCity-me
MyCity-me is a non profit organization boosting urban models based on citizen empowerment for knowledge and innovation in different aspects of the urban complexity. Knowledge generation and urban platforms offering access to technology, personal mobility, information, open data for in-sync- with needs and environment- citizens are some of the key topics the project highlights and promote.
Its research and activities explore how Energy, Information and Fabrication could lead to optimum future (smart) city models, where technology and citizenship will play a protagonist role in the production of more efficient and responsive habitats that would adapt to our behavioral changes over time.

4.GREEK FREE / OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE SOCIETY (GFOSS)
The Greek Free / Open Source Software Society (GFOSS) is a non-profit organization, which was founded in 2008 by 25 Universities, Technological Education Institutes and Research Centers. Its major goal is to promote the use and development of Open Technologies for Education, Public Administration and Business in Greece. It, therefore, aspire to become a knowledge hub and a platform for dialogue on Free Software, Open Content & Open Hardware and their benefits. The major Greek Universities, Research Centers and Technological Institutes are members of the GFOSS, while leading members of the Greek community of Open Technologies users and developers play a major role in the implementation of our actions, through mutual cooperation and active participation.  GFOSS is affiliated with Creative Commons and a founding member of COMMUNIA.

5.P2P FOUNDATION GREECE
The P2P Foundation is a non-profit organization, a “Stichting”, founded in Amsterdam in 2007.
P2P Greece is the Greek representation within the big community.
The P2P Foundation is a knowledge commons and a global community of researchers and advocates that monitors the emergence of peer to peer dynamics in society, i.e. through peer production, governance, and property models that are characterized by open access, partipatory process of governance, and property formats that guarantee universal access. This is monitored in every field of human activity.
